Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangh, Kosbad, Tal. Dahanu, Dist.Palghar, managed Vikaswadi Adhyapak Vidyalay is a NCTE recognized and MSCERT affiliated Junior College of Education offering D.El.Ed. course. Established by the “Pioneer” of child education in India “Padmabhushan Late Smt.Tarabai Modak “ in a remote, rural,tribal area of Kosbad in 1957,  even before she started a primary school for the children in this tribal area and her thinking then was to prepare capable teachers who would understand the needs and psyche of these children and use innovative techniques and methods to teach them and make learning interesting for them.

We, at Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangh, Kosbad are following her footsteps and carrying out her mission forward for more than 63 years. We are proud that during these years we have provided the state more than 5000 dedicated teachers who are working endlessly for uplifting the future of many rural students in various parts of Maharashtra. Many of our past students have won accolades in the form of Best Teacher Award at, District/State levels. The Vidyalaya is very proud of all these past students and they in turn acknowledge the teachings and the values the Vidyalaya has imbibed in them.

Our aim has always been an overall development of each and every student and we make every effort to see that every student participates in various activities that the Vidyalaya has to offer.
